Functional Interaction Trap (FIT)-mediated specific tyrosine phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) in SYF mouse embryonic fibroblasts.
SYF cells (mouse embryonic fibroblasts lacking the three Src family kinases Src, Yes and Fyn) were transfected with GFP-actin and FIT-compatible Src with FIT-compatible FAK. Cells were visualized using confocal microscopy, with GFP-actin showing in green and tyrosine phosphorylation in red.
